Elvire's class has truly been a highlight of my time in GC! I appreciate how she consistently introduced diverse poses and routines to challenge everyone. I have tried yoga many times over the years and never “got it”. I then attended one of Elvire’s classes a couple of months ago and I am hooked - it is one of the highlights of my week and I’m disappointed when I can’t make it! the class I attend is the right mix of physical practice deep stretch and mindfulness for me. As a male in his 40’s I always wanted to try yoga but was always to worried to give it a go in case I would embarrass myself. Then came an opportunity to try a class with my partner and she recommended I come along to one of Elvire’s classes. I can tell you now that it was the best move I made as I was welcomed into the classes and made to feel very comfortable for someone who had never attempted yoga before. Her ways of teaching are suited to all levels and I find that very comforting. So for someone who just wanted to try yoga I now attend Elvire’s classes twice a week and have since seen a massive improvement in strength, stability and mindfulness.

Elvire is an incredible yoga instructor. She creates a beautiful, energising, peaceful environment and provides a great mixture of strength, flexibility, meditation and deep breathing. Her classes accommodate for all levels of experience so if you are a beginner like I was then I highly recommend Elvire. There are so many reasons why Elvire stands out as the best yoga instructor such as her gentle, calming approach. Her ability to push you with her delicate touch and how she is able to adapt her exercises depending on your level. Elvire's classes are enjoyable and beneficial from a physical and mental perspective. She teaches like an Advanced Soul, in tune with the Universe and her attention to alignment and energy makes difficult poses easier to achieve. The time simply flows and when Elvire sings mantras, its like a nightingale or an angel. Sublime and very special.

In Elvire’s class, we went back to basics and focus on the all important breath and body connection. It moved me to a state of pure bliss!
Her soft voice and all loving adjustments create a gentle atmosphere, welcoming to all. Her final song sent vibrations through my body and spoke to my soul.

Elvire is one very unique yoga teacher. Why? She paces her class so that everyone feels relaxed and nurtured throughout. And at the end of the class, I hear people say, “wow I feel so good! I really needed that!” Also it is a real treat at the end of shavasana when she sings to us! She sings in Sanskrit one of the mantras or hymns proclaiming love and peace for the world. What more could you want?!
