MY TEACHING STYLE
My teaching background is called Purna Yoga meaning "complete”. It integrates all the principles and practices of yoga with an emphasis on alignment in Iyengar tradition for a safe practice.
As music and singing are my second passion, I believe in their power to soothe the soul. That’s why music has a big part in my classes to take your experience to the next level of blissfulness. Expect some chanting from me at the end of Savasana!
Finally, I integrate the healing energies of Reiki in my classes to encourage 100% positive vibes!
All levels are welcome in my classes.
YOGA STYLES
Hatha
Hatha Yoga is perfect if you’re totally new to yoga. You’ll learn the basis and foundation of a variety of yoga postures with a strong focus on alignment. Hatha is excellent to ground yourself, find your center and clarity of mind.
Hatha flow
If you’re looking for something more dynamic, hatha flow is for you. We keep the principles of hatha yoga with postures held between 3 to 5 breaths, incorporating mindful flow sequences linking breath to movement. You should feel energized after this class.
Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga where poses are linked together with the breath in a creative flowing sequence. It is a playful, dynamic, and energizing practice that provides good cardio and improves coordination. It is the perfect style for you if you love moving your body and need a low-impact full-body workout.

Yin yoga
Yin yoga is one of my favourite yoga styles! It is a practice that includes the principles of Chinese medicine to work on the meridians and specific organs. Postures are held from 3 to 5 minutes to target the fascia (connective tissues). When muscles benefit from repetitive movement like in the other styles described above, the connective tissues benefit from long holds.
It is a juicy yet sometimes challenging practice that will open and increase your flexibility, in body and mind.
Yoga Nidra is a unique meditation practice and is also called Yogic Sleep. Close to a relaxation method, It’s said that 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra equals 2-4 hours of sleep! It is replenishing and incredibly relaxing. Let me take you on a journey, and allow yourself to let go with Yoga Nidra.
